Going back to where I belong, the beach! Where I'm most peaceful and where I just love to shoot!
Sure if you've had a camera bag full of sand I'd imagine I've already brought you back from rough memories, so I'll partially apologise about that, and swiftly move on...
Back in December I picked up the A7 Mark II which if you didn't get from the name is Sony's second rendition of this camera. Along with it's Brother and Sister (A7RII + A7SII).
The A7 Mark II however is a massive upgrade from it's predecessor with added features like 5 Axis in Body Stabilization & a Hybrid Auto-Focus System.
Not to say the Mark 1 isn't more than good enough for most applications the Mark II is just that well rounded team player.
Camera bags... ah yes! I'm sure we've all had/got our fair share of bags littering up the wardrobes over the years. And yes, I've heard the men are worse than the women in most case.
I can speak from experience there as I have an embarrassing amount of camera bags and I know some well know Pros that have even more than me!
Why do we have so many then..? I think it's because, like most things in all industries...there's not one thing that does all.
Shooting Mirrorless you should be halfway there. It's typically lighter & smaller than DSLR gear so suddenly smaller bags can become part of your everyday kit.
After great results taken with the 8mm F/2.8 Fisheye we felt it only right that we start to look into the rest of the Samyang Mirrorless Range.
We were sent the 21mm f/1.4 to test out and see what we think.
The Samyang 21mm f1.4 UMC CS is a fast manual focus lens designed specifically for use with Mirrorless Cameras (Fujifilm, Sony, Micro Four Thirds & Canon EOS M Mount). The one I will be using is X mount for Fujifilm used on an XT1. The 21mm is equivalent to 31.5mm with an APS-C sized sensor.
